Alumni Information
We usually have between 160 and 180 undergraduate majors, making us one of the larger geography BA programs in the western United States. In spite of this, we keep class size small and maintain our normal close contact between faculty and students. Our MA in Applied Geography has been a resounding success since it began in 2003.
We expect to continue to strengthen our program with vibrant new faculty over the next few years. As always, we struggle with low funding, particularly for teaching assistantships for our graduate students. We hope you remember us when giving to your alma mater, and please keep in touch so we can brag about the accomplishments of our alums!
