About the Conservation, Parks, and Outdoor Recreation Minor:
This minor provides a focused-yet-flexible approach to help students interested in these areas move toward careers and/or further study in the burgeoning areas of conservation, parks, and outdoor recreation. The minor is active as of fall 2024.

Program Requirements:
The Conservation, Parks, and Outdoor Recreation minor requires a minimum of 18 credit hours of course work, at least 12 of which must be upper-division (3000+ level). All courses must be completed with a grade of C or better. Students are strongly encouraged to earn certifications in Wilderness First Aid (minimum) or Wilderness First Responder (recommended).
